Living Spring Solutions recruits and retains care workers from London, Kent, Surrey, and Essex. Our Staff qualifications range from moving and handling instructors, staff with NVQ / diplomas in health and social care to relatively new workers to the sector.
Our care workers are the ambassadors of our service. It is the reason we have a robust recruitment and selection system. We ensure that extra care is taken in selecting care workers who are kind and has integrity. During our recruitment process we ensure that a minimum of 2 references are obtained and verified and that disclosure and barring service checks are completed (DBS). We also recognise the fact that good training and continuous development is an essential part of the care workers / office staff role. To provide personal care and practical support to service users to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible, within a designated area on a day-to-day basis within the domiciliary, Live in and supported living service.
Working hours: as a care provider we cover care 24 hours 365 days therefore your rota may vary as per service requirements. |

Key Role Responsibilities | ||
To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policies and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the senior Care worker or Manager
To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain up to date practices. Ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing Ensure that all staff contributes to the efficient running of the service. Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of service users. Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the organisation. Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management Take responsibility for the shift and for the service while on duty Respond to emergencies and provides guidance to service users. Assists service users with their personal car; enabling service users to dress, undress, wash, shower, use the toilet and bathe Serve meals to service users at table or in bed, assists with feeding if required Generally, assists with service users’ overall comfort and wellbeing Provide interest and activities to stimulate and engage the service user Support service users to access facilities and services in the community Help with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, collecting benefits Undertake light cleaning and domestic duties including meal preparation as required Support service users with medication – Prompt, administer, order/repeat prescription to ensure service users do not run out of medication. Support service users with all domestic activities. Liaises with professional staff in carrying out care plans etc. |
